Our approach to abuse
Xpress Site hosts independent merchant websites and online stores. This page explains how we handle abuse reports about sites on our platform, what we can and cannot do, and how to submit a complaint.
Last updated 07 Oct 2026
What this covers
Use this process for abuse on websites hosted by Xpress Site — including *.xpress.site subdomains and custom domains connected to our platform.
Merchants control their own products, pages, media, and messaging. Unlike a social network with one curated feed, we operate as hosting infrastructure for many independent site operators. The site owner is usually best positioned to fix specific content first.
Prohibited uses are also described in our Terms & Conditions. Reports are handled under our Privacy Policy.
How we handle reports
When you submit a report through our form, we typically take these steps.
- Step 1
Review
We review your report and the URL or site you identified on our platform.
- Step 2
Notify
When appropriate, we contact the site operator so they can fix the issue.
- Step 3
Act
We may restrict content, disable features, or suspend the site when policy or law requires it.
- Step 4
Follow up
We may email you if we need more detail. We may not share a full case outcome.
What we can and cannot do
We can
- Review content hosted on Xpress Site (including custom domains pointed to our platform)
- Contact the merchant / site operator about the report
- Restrict or remove access to specific content when we can locate it
- Suspend or terminate a site or account for serious or repeated violations
We cannot
- ×Remove content that is not hosted on Xpress Site
- ×Change DNS or domain registration for domains you manage outside our registrar flow
- ×Resolve payment disputes, refunds, or order issues (use support / the merchant instead)
- ×Act as law enforcement or issue court findings
Content we may block or remove
We may block, remove, or suspend access to content or sites that we determine involve:
- Child sexual abuse material / exploitation of minors
- Phishing, malware, or spam delivery
- Intellectual property infringement
- Fraud, scams, or counterfeit goods
- Illegal content or controlled substances
- Harassment, threats, or violence
- Privacy violations / doxxing
- Other illegal or Terms of Service violations
Emergencies and law enforcement
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Our abuse form is not a substitute for law enforcement.
Reports involving child sexual abuse material should also be reported to the appropriate authorities in your jurisdiction (for example, local law enforcement or a national CSAM hotline). We take action on valid reports on our platform, but we are not a reporting agency for criminal investigations.
Valid legal process (such as court orders) may be required for certain requests, including some defamation claims.
When we suspend or terminate services
We may suspend or terminate a site or account if our services have been used to store or distribute content in violation of our policies — especially when the issue is severe, repeated, or not addressed after notice.
For intellectual property claims, we follow applicable notice-and-takedown processes. Site operators may be notified of actions we take and, where appropriate, may respond or submit a counter-notice.
How to submit a report
Select the appropriate category on the reporting form and fill out each requested field. Be as specific as possible. Incomplete reports may take longer to process or may not be actionable.
- ✓Exact URLs on an Xpress-hosted site (one per line, same hostname)
- ✓Abuse category and your relationship to the report
- ✓Clear description of the problem
- ✓Evidence links when available
- ✓Your full name, email, and signature / good-faith acknowledgment
For intellectual property claims, also include the rights holder name, a description of the original work, and your contact address. You must acknowledge good faith and digitally sign the report.
What to expect
We review reports in good faith. Submitting a report does not guarantee a particular outcome or timeline. We may ask for more information, forward the report to the site owner when you allow it, take platform action, or close reports that are incomplete, out of scope, or not actionable.
Knowingly submitting false or abusive reports may result in ignored submissions and, where applicable, legal consequences.
Reports submitted through our form are subject to our Privacy Policy.
